Yarrawonga Plastics Manufacturers Instructions We at Yarrawonga Plastics are so confident with our product that we offer a 10 year replacement Warranty on manufacturing defects from the date of Manufacture. Yarrawonga Plastics recommends that a Licensed Plumber installs your tank in accordance with the regulations in your area. Your new Yarrawonga Plastics tank is to be situated, on a level, solid flat base which is well compacted and free of any sharp objects, rocks or stones. A concrete base is preferred but a 3" compacted sand base or crushed dust base is acceptable. The prepared area must be at least 500mm larger than the tank base, so that the sand can't be eroded from under the tank. The overflow of the tank must be plumbed so it discharges at least 300mm away from the base of the tank. If the tank is to be placed on a stand, plumbing is to be supported on the stand, never on the tank. The stand should be well supported at the base of the legs to support the weight when the tank is at full capacity. Treated pine or Hardwood decking is ideal for your tank to sit on with a maximum spacing of no more than 40mm apart. Yarrawonga Plastics will void all warranty claims if the installation does not meet these criteria’s.
